Drypoint, Woodcut, Etching, Aquatint
Below are several of my explorations in printmaking. In my studies, I explored various methods of printmaking including drypoint, woodcut, etching, and aquatint. Some of these designs were inspired from images I created during photoshoots, while others were scenes inspired by a collection of images and movies.
Materials: copper plate, pressed wood, printing press, etching tools, wood carving tools, water-based and oil-based inks, brayer, newspaper, tarlatan, paper, water, acid bath, hot plate, watercolor, eyeliner
