Sustainability concerns with our textured, sleeved cans grew as the company expanded. We did a massive overhaul of all flavors to refresh the brand and ring in 2025 with printed cans. Switching from sleeved to printed cans emphasized the need to limit colors which was a unique challenge for the rainbow SOUR STRIPS can. The older can matched the rainbow gradient featured on the candy packaging but this type of gradient would be impossible on a printed can.
