I first heard the song “Prettysoon” by Myles Cameron in February of 2020. I was inspired by the romantic lyrics and the odd music style to tell an alien love story. At the time I had never designed a moving piece. Two years and three motion classes later, I finally knew how to approach this video. As I began exploring styles for my music video, I was inspired by sand performance videos. The grittiness of the texture and the organic fluidness of the sand really fit well with my concept.
